About the School

Hdh. Atoll Education Centre (HDhAEC) is a government school located on Kulhudhuffushi island, serving students from Foundation (LKG/UKG) through Grade 10. Since its founding, the school has focused on academic excellence, character development, and community service.

1978 — Foundation Stone Laid

Initiated as part of national efforts to expand access to education in the atolls.

1979 — Official Opening

The school began serving the community and has grown continuously since.
